No professional guesthouse, just homestay. EUGENE: Very nice! (But not experienced in householding.) Generous and caring. ROOM: Nice. But windows cannot be closed (very loud, a lot of wind, freezingly cold in winter). Hot & no air condition in summer. Shelves and table were dusty and hairy at arrival. No key for locking the room. Eugene even admits that she goes in sometimes (no privacy). KITCHEN: Waste everywhere, food waste even in the water basin. Awful smell in the fridge. Floor and towel never cleaned. Breakfast good. BATHROOM: Old. Always wet. Floor, bathtub, shelves, mirror, water basin and chair always dirty and never cleaned. Shelves rusty and covered with old toothbrushs and bottles (never removed when someone leaves) and cleaning stuff; things (like dirty painting stuff) standing around. Sometimes water comes from the ceiling. Rarely worms in the bathtub and ants on the wall. LIVING ROOM: No access to the 2nd room shown on the pictures, just 1 living room. GARDEN: Dirty. No terrace, no activities there, no nice view (just dirty roofs covered with dog shit, construction works). DOGS: Barking dogs wake you up in the morning. They lick you at arrival and sometimes bite. (They can go in parts of the house where you can find their waste and the smell it creates, e.g. the part with the washing machine). TRANSPORT: Very good access to buses. SURROUNDINGS: Nice small stores nearby where you can buy everything you need. Nice area, however, you are not in the city center. A lot of forests and hills to walk and enjoy nature. OVERALL: OK. No good guest house. Would go there again because of the friendship with Eugene and the good access to buses.
